HTC hasn’t exactly been doing a good job of keeping the One Max under wraps, as images of the “phablet” have appeared yet again, this time with a Verizon logo front and center. These images appear courtesy of the Android Central forums, and as you can see, compared to the 4-inch iPhone 5 the One Max is a big phone.
he pictures have allegedly been supplied by a Verizon employee, who claims the device was being shown to employees for demo. He claims the phone does include the rumored fingerprint sensor on the back, and that the back panel is removable. Other than that no new information is available. The phone is expected to feature a 1080p 6-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and the same 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera as the HTC One.
The original 4.7-inch HTC One is available on all four major U.S. wireless carriers, so the branding seen here doesn’t necessarily suggest an exclusive. It’s interesting to note that Verizon was actually the last of the four carriers to offer the HTC One, likely so it wouldn’t cannibalize sales of the HTC Droid DNA.
