The HTC One Max is finally launching in the United States. This Friday, Sprint will begin carrying the oversized smartphone, which includes a 5.9-inch display, a Snapdragon 600 processor, and runs Android 4.3. The phone will cost $249.99 on-contract, or $250 if you're part of Sprint's One Up upgrade program, and will be available both online and in Sprint stores. Though the Max is a supersized version of one of our favorite Android phones of the year, it doesn't quite come through will all of the original's strengths — and it'll likely have a hard time facing off against the Galaxy Note 3, which sells on Sprint at the very same price.
