We've proudly been an iPhone user since the day they were first available six years ago, but along the way we've heard the siren song of the occasional Android or Windows Phone as well. There's just one problem: Manufacturers and carriers tend to junk up Android handsets with custom software, making it hard to find devices with the real stock experience. Now, two of the best are available direct from Google -- find out which ones in today's recap.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 Delayed Until "Later in the Summer"

Waiting anxiously for Plants vs. Zombies 2 next month? According to Joystiq, the wait just got a little longer, as PopCap announced via Twitter on Wednesday that the sequel has been bumped from July 18th to a future date "later in the summer." The only good news for iOS owners is that PopCap has reaffirmed its commitment to "Apple products first," followed by other platforms -- so at least that's one less thing to worry about.

iPhone 4 Leaker Speaks Out on Reddit

Remember Brian Hogan? He's the guy who found the iPhone 4 prototype left behind by an Apple employee in 2010 and sold it to Gizmodo. According to The Next Web, Hogan took to Reddit this week to dish on the whole ordeal, which netted him a quick $5,000 -- money that ultimately went to an attorney to help deal with the fallout after Apple confirmed the device was real. When asked why he didn't simply return the handset to the bar where he found it, Hogan laments, "I was 21, drunk, and I didn’t think about that at the time." Ironically, these days Hogan rocks a Windows PC and Samsung Galaxy S3, perhaps to the surprise of no one.

Dropbox 2.3 for iOS Adds Link Sharing, Gestures

Everyone's favorite cloud storage solution Dropbox received an update this week, bringing the iOS version to 2.3. So what's new? Users can finally (finally!) share links to entire folders as well as select and share multiple photos, but the real juicy stuff comes with new gestures for sharing, moving, deleting or favoriting any file with just a swipe. Of course, Dropbox couldn't stop there, so they smashed a few bugs that were driving them nuts as well. The update is now available from the App Store.

HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 "Google Play" Editions Now Available

Right on schedule, Wednesday saw the release of "Google Play Editions" of HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4, arguably the two best (or at least well-reviewed) Android handsets on the market today. Available for $599 and $649 respectively, the Google Play editions are noteworthy for combining great hardware with stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean -- no manufacturer-added skins and no carrier bloatware on board. Even better, these models are unlocked and contract-free, ready to go out of the box with AT&T or T-Mobile US 3G or 4G (including LTE) as well as any GSM network around the world. Orders ship by July 9 with free ground shipping, so grab 'em while you can.

In-Flight Wi-Fi Expands, But Still Costs a Fortune

The New York Times is reporting what may be obvious to any frequent fliers: In-flight Wi-Fi is finally taking off (pun intended), but doggone, it's still pretty expensive. Now available on 8,700 domestic flights -- roughly 38 percent of all commercial aircraft -- Gogo rules the skies with more than 80 percent of the market. According to data provided by RouteHappy, Delta is the current leader, while 38 daily international flights also now offer Wi-Fi service for those long hauls across the pond. Wireless providers are also finding new ways to use the service, including in-flight entertainment that's actually streamed to a passenger's smartphone or tablet instead of using the aircraft's own hardware.
